The CEM Venture Fund is now accepting proposals

The CEM Venture Fund welcomes one-page pre-proposals until October 31st, 2015

The pre-proposals will guide creation of a more formal process for submitting and reviewing full proposals. All ASU and Mayo faculty and students are eligible. We encourage applicants to talk with one of the Core Faculty about possible projects. All proposals must be for interdisciplinary work that connects evolutionary biology and topics relevant to medicine or public health.

Proposals can be in any of four areas:

Travel grants to establish new collaborations or present the results of research on a topic in evolutionary medicine.

Graduate fellowships to support a term of research on a topic in evolutionary medicine under the supervision of an ASU and/or Mayo faculty.

Research support that will initiate new projects in evolutionary medicine.

Workshops that will bring in one or more scientists from elsewhere to spend 1-3 days meeting with ASU faculty and students to investigate a question that may lead to new research projects.

Education resource development online or in person.
